The $1,700 annual limit covers all qualifying SGOs. Your usable credit depends on your tax liability and any state credit for the same contribution.
A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
A credit reduces federal income tax dollar for dollar; a deduction reduces taxable income. This credit is nonrefundable, and the same contribution cannot also receive a federal charitable deduction.
The site currently offers a planning preview. Contributions can qualify only after January 1, 2027, if Anchored Arrows is listed as an eligible SGO for that year.
Students must be eligible for public K–12 enrollment and meet the federal household income limit of 300% of area median income. We will verify students and expenses before awarding scholarships.
No. Federal taxes are not earmarked for individual agencies. An eligible SGO contribution may instead qualify for a credit against your federal income tax.
Stripe will handle payment securely. We’ll document each contribution and send a January annual summary. Recurring plans continue until canceled.
